What about Wilcox & Petro
4
Eddy Curry?
This deal gives you a really solid young core, balances out your roster, and gives you a real inside threat. Collison is a monster on the boards and decent scorer, Curry is close to unstoppable close to the hoop, makes your depth chart look good.
Curry / Sene / Swift
Collison / Green / White
Durant / Green / Mason
Mason / Durant / Weaver
Westbrook / Watson / Weaver?

Of course he has a big contract, the guy is 6'11" and like 290pounds.... You don't see guys like that walking down the street...
Point is he completes your teams lineup nicely, unless of course you aim for a center in next years draft, and I dont think the cap room Wilcox and Petro's expirings bring is such a blessing if you're gonna have to overpay to get stars here anyways. True centers who can put up good numbers are rare nowadays, so why not grab Curry?! Better value than letting Wilcox walk in the hope you land a big FA

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
I've been a Knicks fan my entire life. OKC does not need and hopefully does not want Eddy Curry. He doesn't rebound, he's fat, he's lazy, he has ZERO love for the game, he doesn't even try to play D, he's a loser, He always will be a loser, he doesn't rebound, his contract is outrageous, he doesn't rebound.
NO!
And to give up Wilcox and Petro for him? NO!
As a Knick fan I just want rid of him. He's not even worth a late 2nd rounder in return. The Knicks will probably have to give up picks or David Lee as an incentive someone taking on Currys ridiculous contract and fat butt.
As an OKC fan. NO!

Statistics are overrated and his really aren't that impressive.
Letting Wilcox walk and getting nothing in return is better value than taking on Curry. Curry is talented but he is a lost cause because he doesn't care at all and he's not going to change.

I don't know why there's so many proposal to trade Wilcox lately... is there something about him that I don't know about? I think he's great for OKC...

He's not really a part of the teams future. He'll be a free agent next summer he wants a raise and most likely will leave if we don't trade him before then. He has a pretty high trade value to a contending team or a team on the verge of contending so we might as well get a young player or some picks for him.
Something like Wilcox and Watson for Al Harrington and Brandan Wright is more like it though.

If we did that trade i think alot of us would be saying Presti should be fired. The Knicks are probably the one team i dont want to see a trade with. Doing this trade would be horrific in my opinion.

Sounds a lot like Wilcox...
But honestly the extra years for a fatter Wilcox aren't worth it.

He's right. As much as Zach Randolph is bashed....Curry is who the Knicks must unload. OKC is overstocked at the 4/5 and very short on guards,so this would not improve anything really.
I see the Subsonics or Thunder (or ?) trading some mix of F/C surplus and getting a solid SG,then moving Durant to SF.
