Thoughts? I think it's terrible. They couldn't have done better than this? At least put a lightning bolt through it. They gotta start paying their graphics department better.

yeah, those are terrible. I feel really sorry for the fans, and even the players who are going to have to play on TV in those things. Really, seriously, they couldn't do better than that? I could've come up with something better than that and I'm not exactly the most artistic when it comes to drawing (music's more my thing). Well, I guess if your Oklahoma City you should just be thankful you have a team, but it still sucks.

what about the alternates maybe those will be better

They definitely look like a similiar version of the warriors color though as well you have to admit..

i agree its like warriors 2. they coulda been alot more original. the unis will prolly also be bad

Yep. It's like they wanted to keep it simple (like the Nets), but then distracted from it's simplicity by throwing 50 billion colors in there.

Meh, it's not THAT awful, it's THAT awful, seriously the text is just simple, and there's nothing much goin around, looks like a 8th grade team's logo.

Its a creative way of punishing a team for only winning 18 games. Also, look for playschool to sue for using their colors

This looks like Bennett designed the logo himself using a video game template. Could it be another attempt to save money? WOW! They really screwer the pooch on this one.

Coming from a fan whose team consistently has some of the worst uniforms in the NBA, that is embarrassing. Poor fans, poor players, poor city. At least my team jumps up 1 spot in the rankings of best logos.

Their color is going to be sky blue? I associate that with the Denver Nuggets.

in the mostly poor panorama of NBA logos, this comes out as one of the worst. no easy feat.

This whole "team concept" is like the ones you see in video games that don't have any licencing deals. Like "Tonight's game is the Cincinati Mummies vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder"

I know it's just a brand name, but there is something to be said about logos, names, etc that make people proud to be associated with teams.

When you pick an abstract, intangible thing as your name (ie "Magic" as opposed to "Bobcats") you really have to step up the design to build an identity. The Miami heat did a great job in thier burning-basketball logo, which is simple but effective. the Magic did ok with thier font and the Disneyworld associations.I seriously doubt anyone is going to go out and get this tattooed on thier arm.

You know what the Wal Mart brand version of Dr. Pepper soda is called? Dr. Thunder. This whole franchise has "generic" written all over it. (except for Durant, of course)
