NJ sends:
Stromile Swift
Sean Williams

OKC sends:
Earl Watson
either the Denver or San An 1st rounder

Clears some salary next year(around 5 mill), gives you a serviceable big man for the rest of this season and an nice prospect. It also gets rid of Watson, clearing some of the logjam at PG and stops some of the internal strife.

Thoughts?

With the troubles Williams has had, I don't see a big reason to give up a 1st round pick. I just don't have too much value for Williams, and significantly less for Swift. Maybe if it was just for Watson, but even then I'm not sure that we really need to more post players either (Swift, Sene, Wilcox, Collison, White, Smith, Krstic are all on the roster currently... not to mention that we just drafted Ibaka and that Green has been playing ~25 mpg at the 4). That leaves around 70 minutes to divide 7 ways, and as it stands, Sene and White are the only ones not taking a chunk of that 70... not really any reason to bump that 7 up to 9...

He's been a total head case in the D-League, getting a double technical at the end of a game that cost his team a victory and then refused to join his team at the half in another. Why give up a first? NJ's not getting anything for him as it stands.
