Don't look now but 5-5 in the last 10 games. Uh hello #5 pick in the draft. Does anyone smell a three game win streak coming on?

So what's everyone's new draft plan?

OKC - Greg Monroe
SA - Andrew Ogilvy
DEN - Dionte Christmas

Anyone else?

There's never a good reason not to stop winning.

These latter picks are fun to project

Sam Young ... 6-6 defender
Josh Heytvelt 6-11 outside shot contrast ... if we griffen .. reminds me of Brad Miller
Terrance williams 6-6 SG
Jermany Pargo.. 6-2 PG
Pendergraph 6-10 PF
Tyler Smith 6-7 SG/SF
Wayne Ellington 6-4 SG.. pure shooter

who do you perfer

Pargo reminds me a little of Westbrook
I don't like Heytvelt at all. Too many character questions
Sam Young could be a stud
Wayne would be a nice shooter of the bench. I don't see him as starting material

Draft Big Board (mid January)

We've got three first round picks. We're likely talking 1-5 and then the numbers 25 and 26. So let's make our big board for these picks, meaning rank players available at those slots. I'm curious to see what you guys think:

First position:

B. Griffin
J. Hardin
G. Monroe
H. Thabeet
R. Rubio
J Holiday
Demar DeRozan
S. Curry
al-Farouq Aminu
B.J. Mullens
J. Teague

Second and third positions. Remember, players fall, surprises jump onto the board, so I think you have to put guys like Clarck and Patterson on there as well as weaker candidates like the big kid from Arkansas and Gerald Henderson:

E. Clarck
P. Patterson (KY)
D. Summers
Cole Aldrich (Kansas)
P. Mills
Austin Daye
Willie Warren (OK)
James Johnson (Wake)
J. Jordan (Tulsa)
Michael Washington (Ark)
Chase Budinger
T. Hansbrough
G. Henderson

I'm really liking Harden, and I feel like he can fit in well with our current group of guys...

Please put all "who should we pick" and "where will we finish" related talk in this thread. Any other threads created will be merged into this one or deleted. Thanks!

Pendergraph is listed at 6-9, with 13 ppg and 7 rpg. I'd like to see what DJ White can do before we draft him.

It's his size more than his stats that I worry about... I admit, I've never seen him play.

It will be very tempting to try and secure a legit center (Kristic is very good, but he needs a tough power foward to complement him, something Jeff Green is not) but it could turn out to be a major waste as well. This draft is looking very starved of talent, so I think some of these bigs with "potential" are prolly getting more hype than they deserve, I'd take the best SG I could get my hands on

You can always get lucky like the Bulls last year. The bulls tried to make playoffs & fell short.

For the lottery, the team was so unsure of winning that they sent their marketing guy to represent them. To observe the actual drawing in private, they sent an employee who was leaving the team. The trip was his going away gift.

Thus, when the bulls won, there was no one to talk basketball or discuss the players with ESPN. Steve the marketing VP kept repeating the Bulls season ticket number in his ESPN interview
