Buzzer Beaters

Post#1 » by wizkid27 » Thu Jan 22, 2009 6:09 am

YES! Finally one goes our way! That was a heck of a game all of the way down to the wire (bit of a free throw contest, but definitely entertaining to watch). Is this another sign that our guys are getting better at executing? Or is it just that with that many close games, the ball had to bounce our way for once?

Do you think Green meant to bank it? Or was he just throwing the shot up?

Durant tried to be the hero Green was a couple of nights ago. There was enough time on the clock for a quality shot, but he forced it.

Yeah... Durant's gotta know how much time is on the clock at that point.

The buzzer didn't go off until the Clipps had the rebound secured. He could've even passed to a teammate for a set shot in that amount of time. Oh well... hard to fault a guy for the ridiculous kind of performance he had tonight. Thonton and Gordon were pretty crazy though... especially Gordon, just couldn't miss!
