Miller for Watson/Joe Smith/(either Spurs or PHX future 1st)

The Thunder turn Watson's contract into an expiring, while basically giving up a late future first. Miller could help mentor Westbrook for a half a year.

Thoughts?

What's the point?
I think OKC could get a pick if they dealt those two elsewhere. No need for OKC to add a pick.

Yeah, I think I've gotta go with Big Mac. Plus, I don't believe that the Thunder are just all-out trying to load up on expiring contracts and cap space this year. They've gotta make the minimum salary requirements and I think they'll wait another year before spending too much, we'll see though...

It will be interesting to see if Sam tries to make a big splash this off-season or if he simply adds the high draft pick and one mid-tier player then go after a big name come 2010.

If the Thunder can squeak into the playoffs next year by simply adding the high draft pick and a mid tier free agent (which I think is very possible) then could OKC quiet the nay-sayers such as myself that do not think OKC will be a desirable market for a big time free agent?

All the parts should be in place money and talent.

As a player the idea of playing next to Durant, Green, Westbrook and 2009 1st rd pick, sounds nice but do touches and quite simply location come into effect?
