I was just wondering if OKC would be interested in trading either Wilcox or Smith to Portland?
At this point, Portland would be looking for a vetran backup PF who would get spot minutes. The main roll this backup PF would be to be a steady influence in the locker room as Portland pushes for the playoffs. Given that, I could see Portland leaning toward getting Smith.
Portland wouldn't be giving up much of vaule. I could see either Frye or Diagou. Both are former lottery picks that are on the last year of their contracts. They have a LOT of motivation to go to a new team and play well to extend their careers.
What would OKC want for Wilcox or Smith?

Re: Wilcox or Smith trade?
Martell Webster for Joe Smith
or
Martell Webster and Diogu for Chris Wilcox
I would think about adding the Spurs 09 pick in both of these deals but it depends on Martells health. What is going on with his injuries?

You have some nice shooting guards we could do with Rudy F and Bayless.

I can't see Portland having any interest in trading Webster, Rudy, or Bayless to pick up a backup PF who would realistically play less than 10mpg.
My intent was to see if you were open for an OLD EXPIERING player for a YOUNG EXPIERING player trade.

OK
Joe Smith for Channing Frye, Diogu, draft rights to Petteri Koponen
or
Chris Wilcox for Channing Frye, Diogu, draft rights to Petteri Koponen
Either one works salary wise and I would do either one in a heartbeat.
