For what he had to do defensively and what he chipped in offensively he had a solid game. If he can consistently chip in 10pts a game then do you really need a SG? I think more than anything this team just needs to mature.
Durant, Green, and Westbrook bring plenty of fire power. I'd hate to see someone come in and NEED touches to be effective. Weaver can be effective without the ball. All he has to do is hit the wide open jumper which he should get plenty of opportunity with the other three handling the rock. Teams need a Bruce Bowen or a Reggie Evans. Winning isn't always about scoring the ball, sometime you need a stop.
Plus I love the fact that Westbrook, Weaver, Durant and Green can all bring the ball up.
Last year before the draft I thought Weaver would have fit nicely next to Westbrook, now watching it, I like it even more.
It is pretty crazy though that Presti managed to get the two most recent Pac 10 defensive player of the year, in the same back court.
