With Salmons traded to the Bulls does anyone think Presti is done?
I have a feeling Desmond Mason gets traded to a team in need of cap.

Wiretap:
From Chandler to Rose, switching expiring contracts. Guess that's just to give Wilcox the opportunity to land himself a nice contract this summer.
The Knicks are close to agreeing to trades that could land them forward Chris Wilcox and guard Larry Hughes, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
The acquisitions would come in two separate trades.
New York would reportedly send Malik Rose to Oklahoma City for Wilcox, and Tim Thomas, Jerome James and Anthony Roberson to Chicago for Hughes.

What would be the point of trading Wilcox? It would cost OKC about a million dollars extra tod do this. The Knicks need to give something. Right?

Wilcox for Rose must be more coming to OKC.Cant see Presti doing this just to help NY and Wilcox.Maybe theres more to it and maybe another team could become involved.

Is Alston better than Watson?
How could he not send Watson to Orlando for Cook and the 1st?
Is Watson worth more than an expiring and a 1st?

Re: Is Presti done making deals?
Maybe Presti wants Watson for next years expiring?
I'm sure some team who will want to be in the LeBron James sweepstakes would be willing to give up something decent for Watson next year.
Plus as much as I don't like Watson, Westbrook still needs a decent back up. And with Atkins salary only 10% guaranteed I can see him being cut as soon as they can.
So I'd say Watson is the back up point next season.

I think that they'd probably prefer Alston over Watson due to his range. Dwight creates a lot of open 3's for the point guard, and Watson wouldn't take advantage of those very well.
