all we need from pg, imo, is defense and the ability to pass KD/Green/RW the ball.
We know Weaver can play D, so can he fit it and play some point, and let RW slip back to his natural position at 2?
I dont know, this idea just pop up in my mind, feel like to share with you all.

this is how terrible westbrook is at PG, that we actually have to contemplate weaver at pg. But after actually contemplating it, you realize, as bad as RW is at PG, weaver would be a downgrade

Weaver and Westbrook already play in the backcourt together. They're going to sort out those duties however they feel most comfortable. I don't think Weaver has the skills to play point in the NBA (at least right now), not to mention, nowhere near the confidence he needs to have.

Well considering that Weaver was a point forward/guard at WSU it isn't that far of a stretch.
Sure they had Derrick Lowe, and Taylor Rochestie, but Weaver controlled the ball a fair amount at WSU and a lot of scouts viewed him as a guy with PG potential.
Weaver isn't going to be Chris Paul. But he is a guy who can be a play maker at times and run the offense to allow Westbrook to play some SG.
This teams needs maturity more than anything else and that includes a center.
It's just going to take a little bit of time.
These are still KIDS.
And kids with hops don't win titles in the NBA. Old vets who can't jump anymore win titles. But that doesn't mean in a year or two that they won't be in the playoffs.
