I agree that Durant should be safe... just like any player. But is there an overwhelming reason to have a thread based around this concept?

If there's some kind of relevant discussion that can come from it... I won't lock it. But this also isn't Kevin Durant's text message inbox. I would love to hear your thoughts if you have something interesting to say about the matter though!

LOCKING OF ANY THREADS ON THE OKC BOARD IS A BAD MOVE!

this board is dead as it is, we dont need to be driving the few people out that wanna have a converation out of here by locking any threads

we should be happy someone is willing to come here and post

Play of others during the game can take place in the game thread...

If there are any points of interest from the locked thread, please feel free to quote them in this thread so that the Thunder fans can read about them :)

1), couldnt find a game thread.

2) Correct, KD, locking a ghost town of a message board when there is no foul language or innapropriate content would just be silly, and baffling.

so what are we gonna talk about in here now?

maybe this:

Durants is listed as day-to-day, but owners have to be concerned about this being a severe sprain. If it is he could miss several weeks, as opposed to a few games. We'll hopefully have an update on his status over the weekend.

Collison @ 4 or Weaver @ 2 and Thabo @ 3 from here on out?

Are we gonna see a D Wade scenario from last year appearing with Durant.Looking towards the upcoming draft and seeing how D Wade has performed since his so called injury/holiday last year could OKC now rest Durant for the rest of the season.Chance to also showcase Green at SF for possible offseason trades.Be interesting to see what happens now.

I don't think that anybody is going to buy that Durant's ankle is so bad that they need to shut him down for the season...

As far as who plays where... Do you keep Green at the 4 and hope that he learns to be able to take over games at that position? Or move him to possibly a more natural 3 and hope that he can carry the team easier from there? I would think leaving him at the 4 would be a better option because he needs to learn to play his own game at the 4... not sit around and wait for Durant.
