I LOL @ the fact that you're paying him as if he's anything but a soft and tender jump shooter with a GF who has a forehead that would put jerry rice's to shame

KSR don't pay any attention to KD-Stan. He's a little much but he has great taste in hats.

FWIW, I'd totally do a trade of Bosh for KD from Toronto's POV, because it'd be a giant steal.

There's no way Presti should ever make that move.

Stiff...I mean wiff,

The moment I stop posting on this board is the moment it dies and goes back to what it was pre-ME: a wasteland where there is at best one post made per week.

You're welcome for my presence.

Why would not trade a Westbrook who you see as trade bait anyway for a proven all-star forward?

Good point... if Westbrook is at best a bench player on a 20 win team, then it shouldn't be a stretch to trade him for an all-star forward who can "just make jump shots" ;)

Honestly, you've gotta say no to Durant for Bosh... Green for Bosh makes more sense from the Thunder side, just on a position basis. However, I've stated my appreciation of Green over and over, so it's probably getting old :)

Answer to your question:

Despite my dislike of westbrook as the PG of this team, no way in hell am I trading him for a soft jump shooting 2nd coming of vin baker who is paid like he is a #1 option.

That's unlikely unless OKC doesn't care about spending money? Durant will need to sign an extension (which is definitely maximum,) and so will Green (something around 5yr/50mil or more.) There is no reason to pay Bosh for maximum because he just isn't that good of a PF for what he is making if he has no superstar who can take pressure off him, physically and mentally.

I have to agree that Westbrook/Green for Bosh is not a great deal. If anyone watches Bosh play, you will get frustrated so easily because he has no power to play...a "power" forward. He goes into the paint to get fouled (not to score...), he settles easily for jump shots. The worst part is...Bosh gets pushed around in the paint. Rebounds he got...are the defensive rebounds that no one went after because offense teams rushed back to defend. Is that what OKC wants?

The initial question in this thread is ridiculous (i wouldn't trade KD for anyone short of Lebron James), but its funny what your opinion of Bosh is. I challenge you to name the top PFs in the game once Duncan and KG are gone and not have Bosh in the top 2 (if not de facto #1).

Plus he's a true character guy. One of the best in the league. Comparing him Vin Baker is silly.

I never thought about it (until coming across this thread) but IF oklahoma doesn't win the lottery for Blake Griffin, a Green + Westbrook for Bosh is interesting. Toronto gets 2 budding talents at positions where its weak and OKC gets a borderline superstar to partner with KD and whoever you guys draft. That's 3 studs....instead of 2 + 2 maybe stars (including 2 SFs)
