Jeff Green
I really love jeff green game and think he is totally apart of the thunder future however i dont think he should be playing the 4. he has great size and love how is he playing but i styyll feel he should be playing the 3 for the future which means moving durant to the 2.. Yes kevin didnt play well at the 2 however i feel for the thunder future green needs to be our starting small forward. With kevin increase point production and more of a mature game i feel playing the 2 with not put a down in his numbers or his tota game.. what do u guys think?

Re: Jeff Green
What do you mean by moving him to the 2?
Do you mean just adding a PF to the lineup or changing the way the offense is run?

Re: Jeff Green
just by moving green to the small forward and then puting durant to the 2 which means adding 2 low post players to go along we our young core via draft or free agent

Re: Jeff Green
Well I would say offensively you change nothing but move Green into a Perimeter player
He could take the Thabo/Weaver spot on offense and just hang out and hit 3s
Not a bad idea

Re: Jeff Green
Although this was a failed experiment at the beginning of the year, I think once Durant is back from the injury, they may want to take a few games to look seriously if this has any long-term feasibility. Durant and Green have both changed and improved since early in the season, not to mention we don't have that joke of a coach any more. Do I think it's ideal? Probably not anymore than Green at 4/Durant at 3. But at this point, we don't have anything to lose by giving it a second look...

Though I think KD at the 2 is not the best fit, I think the general consensus that his emergence as a superstar coencided with his move to SF is wrong. His ascension was not due to any one magic thing like the move to SF that just made things click. He plays no different on the offensive end now than he did as SG, he just put it all together and has just become a better player period.
If we get an adequate PF/C combination, we should consider moving KD to the 2 because whatever mismatches that may bring about, a potent PF/C combo will make up for it and we will be better off overall.
