With our next game being against the wizards, chances are we're gonna have a 3 game winning streak on our hands, coinciding with the absence of KD in all of them and the absence of Green in 2 of 3 of the games.

Obviously this is by no means a reflection on KD and Green, but I am very proud to see this kind of inspired and hard-nosed play out of the likes of Weaver, Thabo, Kristic and *gasp* even Russell.

I am so cotton pickin' excited to see what happens this summer. We will have a delicious and high lotto pick to nab yet another great young player for the future, and the greatest thing about it is that unlike KD/Green/Westbrook this lotto pick will not have the weight of the whole franchise on his shoulders. Thanks to the big-3 we already have they will have far less pressure on them and their transition should be a lot smoother. If we decide to trade the pick, we will surely get a great semi-young veteran to contribute right away and take us to another level. I also have a lot of faith Presti will make something electrifying happen with the late 1st rd pick either via trade or by drafting a steal.

And to think, on top of all this we will also have money to sign a delicious free agent as well.

Cant wait till next year!

p.s. if westbrook comes in next year improved, along with the obvious growth of KD and Green, we will shock the world

I think the key is our role player stepped up and play hard defense.
If we can do that with KD and Green in the starting lineup

True... there is a thread dedicated to just any kind of (appropriate) pictures you can come up with. The random pics don't really have much at all to do with a 3 game winning streak without our best 2 players...

Anyone think they are gonna hold Green and KD out a little longer than they would if they had something to play for? One, to boost playing time and hopefully guys like Krstic, Thabo, Westbrook, and Weaver. The other reason to increase are draft status

maybe we could get Chandler back with our late 1st and then tar and feather the doctor.

I would so... Green probably would even be playing right now if they were fighting for a playoff spot... Durant would probably be close on his heels. But yes, most of the urgency is gone. Not really any reason to bring them back... It's better draft-wise and as far as evaluating the other players on your team. Would be nice to see both back in action towards the end of the year so that they can see how everyone is playing with them.
