Yeah, I saw that.... Pretty interesting. If you read the rest of the little bit about that quote, it seems to be referring to the fact that the OKC fans stand up until the first basket (like several college fan-bases do). I really haven't heard anything but the best as far as the cheering/noise level that the fans have had. Wonder what the intention behind the quote was? Just seemed kind of random... even an afterthought in the article.

Sorry for getting excited? I think being compared to a college like atmosphere is a good thing, not a bad thing. I guess if being too loud at the beginning of games is a bad thing, then thats something we will just have to deal with.....

Yeah, totally agree though. Don't know who would prefer quiet all game versus loud as heck at the beginning and maybe quiet towards the end (depending upon how the game is going). From the five or so games I've been to in OKC, versus the several I've been to in other random places, the OKC crowd is easily the loudest and most excited (especially considering the record).

New team in a new city can get a lot of ppl something to be excited about despite the record.
