Thunder/Blazers POG

Well... I missed a good portion of the first half. Then saw a quite awful second half of basketball... Just for the record, of the Blazers missed shots, the Blazers rebounded 21 and the Thunder rebounded 23. That is a HORRIBLE rebound rate! Oh well... I suppose we still have to crown a guy for player of the game. I just may have to go with the newest member of the team... However, it's tempting to choose Swift purely because he contributed the lowest number of minutes to this catastrophe.

Player (points/rebounds/assists)
Green (12/4/0)
Durant (13/5/3)
Westbrook (8/8/4)
Livingston (10/3/1)

I'm glad I went out tonight and didn't watch the game. However I would like to know how Livvy looked.

But is there really a player of the game when you lose by 35 points?

My vote goes to Weaver because he wasn't here.

Livingston had something like 8 straight points for the Thunder. He looked pretty decent offensively, but he sure favored the leg when he ran.

Yeah... he looked good, definitely. It wasn't like a dominant good play or anything. His defense was better than I was expecting it to be right now... his length allowed him to make similar plays to Thabo.

His points were all in the 2nd half I believe, and it came against the easier defense of a team that was leading by 30+.

He didn't have many spectacular passes or anything, but you can tell that he still has the ball skills that made him the #4 pick in the draft.

Once he loses that tentativeness of this injury, he will be a solid contributor, and maybe even a starter on a good team.

I'm not going to vote for anyone, terrible game.
