OKC will be around 17 million under the cap for next season. Here are some players that could help OKC via free agency.

Restricted:
Marvin Williams
Raymond Felton
Jarrett Jack
Ramon Sessions
Charlie Villanueva
David Lee
Nate Robinson
Marcin Gortat
Channing Frye
Rashad McCants
Paul Milsap

Unrestricted:
Mike Bibby
Zaza Pachulia
Ben Gordon
Anderson Varejao
Brandon Bass
Jason Kidd
Gerald Green
Chris Andersen
Kwame Brown
Rasheed Wallace
Allen Iverson
Antonio McDyess
Ron Artest
Von Wafer
Lamar Odom
Trevor Ariza
Andre Miller
Shawn Marion
Carlos Boozer
Ronnie Price

My top 5 Free Agents:
1.Andre Miller (Good pickup for short term benefits)
2.Mike Bibby (OKC really needs some outside shooters)
3.Chris Andersen (Shot blocking purposes)
4.Ramon Sessions (Solid future PG)
5.Ben Gordon (I put him last because of his asking price)
Draft Scenerios:
Scenerio 1: If OKC gets unlucky and falls out of the top 5 of the draft, I would sign Ramon Sessions and Chris Andersen.
Scenerio 2: If OKC lands either Griffin, Thabeet, or Brandon Jennings, I would sign Ben Gordon.

So OKC got 17 million to spend. How would you spend it?

You know the more i look at the make-up of our team we have loads of talent and i do not see many of those players coming here to be a back-up.I would love to get Sessions and Villinueva to add with the signing of Shawn Liv and the emergence of DJ White(i think he could be as good as Griffen and not because im from Indiana)but i say use the money in a trade for a GOOD YOUNG 2 or a GOOD YOUNG center witch ever we miss out on in the draft

Has DJ White had an emergence? Am I missing something? I thought he only played some D-League games?

I'd be interested in "The Birdman" Chris Andersen. He rebounds and blocks shots like crazy.

He could be a poor mans Tyson Chandler for a poor mans price.

Obviously Milsap would be nice to have but would the Jazz rather part with Boozer or Milsap?

Ramon Sessions would probably look pretty nice too depending on his price tag.

Ben Gordon's biggest drawback is asking price. Last year he refused 6 years /$54 million from Bulls. They had open offer for 2 months - then told Ben & agent that they will leave it open for only 48 hours

Right before deadline, they said "no". Bulls said "fine.

later, when Ben did not get comparable offers, they came back & said they would take it. This time Bulls said "no"

Bulls will try to resign him - but if OKC exceeds 5 years / $50 million, you'll probably get him.

Restricted free agents are usually a pipe dream to get away from their original teams so I don't think that we're going to get a Ramon Sessions or a Charlie Villanueva. If we can't get a rugged, defensive minded starting 5, and I don't know if there is one to be had, the Birdman would be a nice player to have in a platoon situation with Nenad Kristic.
