Nick Collison Thoughts?

I remember him with Kirk back in college. Haven't really followed his career, although I do know he was injured his rookie year.

Just wondering what are your guy's thoughts about Collison? Since I'm sure you guys know the best about him, in his NBA career. I checked his stats and he doesn't seem too bad, at least not last season when he put up 8/6. Do you guys like him as a player? Is he a good role player? Good contributor?

I've liked him since his early days in Seattle. He puts up good rebounding numbers and we don't overpay him. He is a good character guy, has a good attitude, and contributes. I think of him as a solid PF/C off the bench role player and think he could be an important piece on any good team. The key things with him are that he is not overpaid and he accepts his role.

Good guy, knows his limits and plays under control. Will get you 8boards off the bench and some good D
