They are trying kids out for the D-League. I don't know, none of these guys grabs my attention... I'm looking for the next Anthony Morrow, and I don't think he's here. Anyone know anything about the Austrailian?

i know heaps about him...i've even scrimmaged against him.
Legit 6'8", SG/SF, excellent ball handler and passer, streaky shooter and a confidence player. (I'd compare him to an Luke Walton type of player). Slow laterally but pretty long which helps cover it.
A few years ago he was the star of the team and was a 20-5-5 guy. The last year he seemed to go backwards (in a championship winning team). People would've had him as a projected late first rounder a couple of years ago, but last year he stopped driving hard to the ring (which with his physical traits he should be taking advantage of) and lost minutes. It seemed like the more he lost minutes the more he tried to force shots (though every now and then he'd have games where he was on fire).
He's only 21 though, so with some confidence gained through work outs and a big summer i could see him intriguing teams and getting picked late.
He also came on late against Team USA and had 8 consecutive points, in the pre-olympic scrimmage which can't hurt.
He's the kind of guy who could switch himself on with some confidence and start really getting to the rack and finishing and hitting his open shots a la Rudy Fernandez and become a really useful player

haha, what's with the questions.
I'm a year older than him and grew up near him. We trained at the same stadium and every now and then we'd get a group and play...this was a few years back.

i just think gorg didn't like him. he'd sub him off at the 6 minute mark no matter how he was playing, and would leave him out of the line up when it got close down the stretch. and i felt like jingles would just force it to try make an impact. When he plays with confidence he's king of the drive and dish. This year he just tried to take pull ups off one dribble.
He better hope he gets drafted...there wont me many teams to come back to in Oz, if there's still a league

Hey, thanks man... interesting post. With this weak draft class, I wouldn't be surprised if we see someone take a chance somewhere on a _relative_ unknown like this guy.
