Thanks Slick i don't tweet but I appreciate your keeping us posted on his weight.

227 is very solid for KD. If he keeps on putting on a little weight the next few offseasons he's going to be unstoppable.

i think 235-240 would be the ideal weight for him to end up at. i wouldn't want him to go over 240.. he doesn't really have the frame for that.

for comparison, tyson chandler's two inches taller and listed at 235, has no problem banging around inside. same with camby. i think durant would be good around that weight.

I think 240ish is a good weight for him as well. I don't think he would hurt his quickness, but he would be strong enough to actually body someone up on defense in the post.

Not this coming season but the next 2011/12. I think you'll see Durant covering the PF's and Green will then be covering the SF's. Which leave us with no real reason to trade Green.

It's just about being patient and letting Durant mature.

Heck if he is at 230lbs this coming season he should be able to cover some of the lighter PF's in the league.

I think 230lbs best fit his body frame, more wieght could burden his knees. Durant's next move should be improving his lateral movement and his one on one defense , now that he gets stronger I wish he play tougher both offensively and defensively.

230 is the best weight if he wants to be a SF, at 240 thats about KG's weight during the time when he became noticeably a pure PF and was no longer a viable option at SF anymore
