Thunder vs Kings

Post#1 » by wizkid27 » Wed Oct 28, 2009 3:48 pm

Time to get things started!

Sorry, but I hadn't had a ton of time to put together a game thread and get things organized for the season. Hopefully I'll get some time tonight before the game to come back and make a proper game thread :) Just wanted something up here so that we could start the discussion of the first REAL game of our season!

Winnable game for sure. We'll see now if that preseason disaster against SAC was just preseason BS or really something to be concerned about.

I think it can go for both sides. It's a winnable game for the Thunder because some of your guys i.e. Durant didn't played huge minutes at all the last matchup with us. It's a winnable game for us because we didn't played Kevin Martin at all.

Anyways, good luck and hope this one is a fun one! :)

It's a winnable game for both because both teams are terrible. No need to elaborate.

Tyreke Evans was an excellent pick for the Kings. ROY IMO.

Sadly, I agree with Dick about why it will be a good game...

Evans/Harden have similar shots at ROY to me. Griffin is the front-runner IMO, even with his recent injury.

I hope the Thunder play better than that group who sang the National Anthem. Man that was bad!

It's game time baby!

Couldn't have asked for a better start. 18 - 10 just five minutes into the game

Nice start. I really like Thabo hitting that corner three, that's big if he's able to do that consistently a la Bruce Bowen.

Westbrook looking great.

Even though Durant isn't hitting his shot yet, he looks like he improved his ball handling a lot this off-season.

Neat seeing Durant bring the ball up. It will be telling to see how the bench fares..

39pts for the first quarter that has to be a "Thunder" record.

Yeah they just mentioned that on the OKC broadcast. Ties for their best quarter last year.

Really good play from everyone.. would have liked to see Etan Thomas stuff that one.

Man... They've just looked awesome thus far. Even Ollie looks like an nba player!

Ollie wining the backup job over Livingston doesn't say much about Livingston. This team would be a lot better with a legit backup PG.

Yeah, I was really hoping Shaun would be it at point, but he didn't look like a pg at all in the preseason.
