Thunder vs Blazers POG

Post#1 » by wizkid27 » Mon Nov 2, 2009 3:13 am

The rest of the team tried to overcome one of Kevin Durant's worst performances that I can remember. It didn't work out too well and it's hard to really come up with more than one or two players that played even up to their average game.

Player (points/rebounds/assists)
Green (19/11/1)
Etan Thomas (4/9/0)
Westbrook (23/4/2)
Harden (6/3/2)

I almost just went with three guys on this and left Westbrook off due to his NINE turnovers. However, he did have a really nice stretch in the second half where he really brought us back into the game.

To me it's between Etan Thomas for his great hustle and rebounding and Jeff Green for being the only player of our big 3 that really stepped up to his role tonight.

I'd say Jeff Green because in addition to being at least somewhat effective on offense he was great on defense tonight.

agreed. He also had quite a few key rebounds late in the 2nd half to give us a chance. I liked his effort and toughness.

Green's effort outshined the stench that is the loss of the game. Not a good way to kickin off November. They need to regroup for the next game and cut down their mistakes to a minimum.
