Well... this is really just a 2 man race (but neither of the two exactly had a flawless game), so I'm gonna give Livingston and White a shout-out just for getting into the game the first time this year:
Player (points/rebounds/assists)
Durant (27/9/1)
Westbrook (33/5/7)
White (0/0/1)
Livingston (2/0/1)

Westbrook has a great statline but he played sloppy.

Just copying what I put in the GameThread.
Well, just watched the game.
Pretty much sumed up the differences between my 2 favs teams.
The rockets have no star, but take care of the ball, make good passes, and play a collectiv basketball.
The thunder is just waiting for greats things by Green, Durant and Westbrook.
I liked the way we were defending for the start of the season, but our defense looked not so good today.
Westbrook is just annoying me now. He's playing selfish basketball, he's not moving AT ALL on offence when he doesn't get the ball, and he makes plenty of bad decisions.
I don't understand why don't go with Green in the post more.
Both high post and low post, he's not a bad passer, he could make passes to cutters, or use his atleticism to get by the defenders. On D, he still needs work. Scola was too much for him.
And I like Durant a lot, but he did take some questionables shoots at the end of the game.
For both Westbrook and Durant, they need more patience. We're playing like steetballers now on O.
And also, why doesn't Harden play more?
10 MN?It's not like Thabo or Westbrook in the first half were balling..
All in all, for this game, I would say Durant.Too bad he could not carry the team at the end.

As much as I like to see Westbrook go off for a bunch of points, I'd rather it be dimes. I'd love to see a 2:1 or better ast/TO ratio. I don't mind him seeing him try to take over late in the game but he better have 8 or 9 dimes by then.
Even though it was a rough outing I still think he should be player of the game.

Me, I don't really care about a number of assists.I still think he hogs the ball too much sometimes, try to make things too complicated, and finally doesn't move at all when he doesn't get the ball.
I would rather see him set a flow for the team, with a lot of cutting, passing to the open man, and not forcing difficult passes or one on one situations.
