Post#1 » by slick_watts » Tue Nov 17, 2009 11:34 pm

Sorry guys, don't have time for a proper game thread today..

I'll be home in time to catch the game and I'll throw my thoughts here as always.

Good luck tonight!
I really like the Thunder this year, they have a very solid young group together.
They should win in Miami tonight.

KD for 30-10
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Should be a good game. Interested to see how Wade tests our defense. Thus far this season, the defense has really kept us in most games, and he's a talent that is hard to keep from scoring.

Really hoping that Green bounces back tonight, he's a had a few rough games, and I think we're lucky to be 5-5 considering that.

It doesn't matter how dreadful the team plays, you can always count on KD to make things happen.

GREEN V BEASLEY.

Looking forward to that! Since there was a lot of talk in the trades board of a trade of the 2. LOL

KD looking smooth.. 10 points already. Some careless passes. OK defense, JO is killing Krstic inside.

Nice run to end the quarter, heads up play by KD to draw the contact on Wade. The defense has been great especially on Wade denying him the ball.

Aside from a few broken plays the offense has looked pretty smooth.

Thabo Sefolosha's shot has definitely come down to earth.. would really prefer if he wasn't shooting threes. No confidence in him.

I like that Durant is getting REST. Too many minutes for him lately and the team didn't implode with him out.. good sign.

Poor execution late in the 2nd quarter, Miami back in the game. Still leading which is good, 45-42.

Ugly end to the half, too many fouls. KD had a nice first but stank in the second. Bench played better than the starters.

Team showed a lot more continuity with Westbrook out..

I'm starting to think that Westbrook just isn't a very smart basketball player, and might never be......Rubio?

Kind of dumb on the double-T. I'm a big fan of the coaching move by Brooks, putting Westbrook on the bench after the altercation. In general, this team could use a lot more fire, but Westbrook just doesn't seem to play well with emotion... he tries to take it all on himself. Now he can calm down and come out fresh in the 2nd half.

I think they looked better because Harden happened to be out there when Russ sat down. I wouldnt say we looked better BECAUSE Westbrook was out of the game.

I like Westbrook but wiz has the idea, he is too emotional sometimes. If he misses a shot, he's likely to try again and again until he gets it. That's OK for a shooter like Durant but RW isn't a guy who's going to shoot himself out of a slump.

He's looked more controlled so far in the second, and how about Thabo. Great defense on Wade.

Thabo has been one of the best players for the Thunder all season. Great Great signing by Presti.
