ESPN to broadcast Friday's game vs. Bucks.

Post#1 » by 88' Draft Pick » Sun Nov 22, 2009 7:01 pm

I just got a text from the Thunder messaging update service they offer. It said that ESPN is moving its coverage from the Suns vs. Timberwolves game to to the Thunder vs. Bucks game on Friday November 27th. Very cool.

Everyone in the nation will have an opportunity to see our young talent match up against Brandon Jennings' Bucks. Should be a great time.

Man this sucks!

I don't watch a lot of TV so my wife and I got ride of DirectTV. But I did purchase Leaguge Pass Broadband. I picked the 7 team package for $89.99. I knew the Thunder were only on national TV 3 times and just once on ESPN.

But everytime they play on national TV it gets blacked out on my computer. I have been looking forward to watching that game because I want to watch Jennings. The Bucks are not one of my 7 teams. So I have yet to watch him live.

I guess I'll be heading to a bar to watch the game.

yeah i hear ya on that. I got the same package and I dont have TV either. But, Im going home for thanksgiving and my dad and I were planning on going to that game together. But I understand that frustration for sure.

I think there should be an option in cases like that where you can just watch the ESPN broadcast and all the commercials from that broadcast through LP broadband.

I think there should be an option that you can pick one team that doesn't get blacked out unless it is on ESPN or TNT.

For example when the Thunder played the Lakers it became the game of the week and it was then put on NBA TV and it got blacked out.

The Thunder play like 11 more games on tuesday. In theory they could all become the game of the week if people vote for them and then I could miss 11 games due to black out after I bought my subscription.

I'm sure i could go pirate it but I paid $90.00 to watch them now they are going to start taking games away from me? BS if you ask me.
