I think the Thunder are destined for great things, yet I see this hole at center year after year that needs to be plugged since the Thunder can make the playoffs this year. I see Philly shopping Dally and I think he is the guy u guys need similar to why the Thunder went out to get Tyson Chandler. The difference is however, While Chandler is a good rebounder and shotblocker, he is a fluid player similiar to Collison and won't bang inside the whole game. Dalembert is the opposite and will block shots and rebound on Durant misses. He is athletic and can run in transition, which is good for this young team.

I think Kristic,Thomas and Livingston could be used to get him. Livingston could finally get some PT while Williams is out and Kristic and Thomas can give the Sixer more depth.

I think this trade makes total sense, Dalembert only has another year on his contract and is one of the better bigmen in the league.He isn't perfect, but he can play his role on a running team.

His 10M+trade kicker cut into 2010 capspace. He'd fit well to Thunder. Etan and whatever contract fits to match up salary should be enough.

I'd only trade for Dalembert if Nick Collison were included, to mitigate some of the salary, but still in that scenario OKC would be commiting ~$5 million of next year's cap space (+~$6.5 million of Nick Collison's contract if they could otherwise unload him for expirings) to a player who nobody else in the league seems to want.

That said, he's not that far off from the Brendan Haywoods and Joel Przybillas of the world and only has a year left on his contract, and if OKC wanted to resign him he'd probably make less than either of those options long term. Might be a good risk, who knows?

Completely agreed. Collison must be a piece leaving if Sammy is coming back.

Collison would probably fit Philly just fine.

I think this is a much better idea.

Dally's pretty overrated in my books. He's a good shot blocker but overall he's a pretty bad defender and over the years I've heard a lot of bad things about his work ethic in Philly. He's been in the league for a while and he still hasn't developed a decent go to post move, he still fouls at a high rate and he still hasn't improved his man defense. I think the Sixers would love to get rid of this guy.
