Looks like another late work day, so can't finish the game thread..

OKC should take this game but have to be careful not to overlook this Philly team. They've got some shooting and decent wing play, Lou Williams is also much improved.

OKC is now ranked 4th in the league in defense rating!

they better not lose this game. Need a ball movement offense and air tight defense and we win big.

Lou Williams is much improved, but he's also injured.

It's definitively a game we should win.

Not a bad start, but kind of sluggish on D, especially Westbrook. God damnit I wish Weaver didnt get injured he would help this team so much.

Durant got ice cold as soon as Philly turned up the pressure on D. 3 turnovers and careless play. Westbrook looks like crap, ugh horrible effort so far.

Yes Westbrook has 7 assists, but the dude has NO feel for the game or BBall IQ. Her has to be the dumbest player on our team. Did I mention he is so GD lazy on D?

He pisses me off so much.

I caqn deal with growing pains, I can live with losing, hell i can even put up with occasional lapses on D. But less than full effort MAKES ME F**KING FURIOUS

Was watching the game at work (:)), just got home. Great bench play is why we're winning; the defense hasn't been great but Philly it making a lot of shots.

Nice game on both ends by KD, man he's so improved on defense.

RW can't find the shot but I don't mind how he's been on offense.

Philly has got to be one of the worst defensive teams in the league. We're getting wide open looks.

KD is a Monster.
Harden is coming along nicely!
Westbrok hasn't hit a shot, but at least he is making plays.

He just plays the game with control. Unselfish moves the offense, and it never gets stale when Weaver has the ball. he is either moving without the ball, passing the ball as soon as he gets it or drives to the hoop. Plus he is a much better defender.

I do agree with you dream

**** Westbrook thinks he is our go to man in the last few mins of every game. Pisses me off massively. Someone need to tel the **** that he cannot shoot!

I'm critical as anyone but come on Kyle Weaver isn't better than Russell Westbrook. RW only took 9 or 10 shots, he knew his shot wasn't going and he got other guys involved. You can't knock the point guard when he has 15 assists and 2 turnovers. His defense wasn't great but it was better than usual.

He was definitely looking for teammates in this one, you can't get 15 assists otherwise.

I know. You're right of course. I just expect him to be DWade.

Westbrook does a lot of things well I admit that, but BBall IQ isn't one of them. I just want my PG to run the team and make great decisions and play great defense. Weaver does that better than Westbrook right now. Granted Westbrook is 3 years younger and should get better at those things so I have patience.

I don't even think Kyle Weaver makes better decisions than RW. Kyle Weaver's career A:TO ratio is less than 1.5:1, which is worse than RW. Plus, much of the reason Weaver appears to be a better decision maker is the fact that he's so limited on offense. Part of the appeal of a Russell Westbrook at point guard are the other things he is able to do, score the ball, rebound a little, get the other team's bigs into foul trouble. Weaver isn't asked to do that stuff, he just comes up the floor, passes the ball, and that's it.

RW is improving, slowly but surely. It's frustrating seeing him make mental errors, and I don't think anyone gets more frustrated than me, but his FG% is rising (despite these bad games), his assist totals are up, assist % is up. He's getting there. Hopefully he'll get there because if he does his ability on offense makes him very intriguing.

On the bright side we get the Celtics on the second game of a back to back for them, and we get a days rest. Hopefully thier aging legs will be tired and we'll be fresh
