As I am watching the Knicks and Heat game right now.

Watching David Lee; I think he would fit in great here. First, could the Thunder take on a contract that goes into next season like Eddy Curry (It would basically be like taking on the salary of Ethan Thomas this year) to get a guy like David Lee?

If the Knick can unload the contract of Curry I think they would move Lee.

A trade that could work is:
Knicks Get: Harpring, Ollie and Thomas
OKC Gets: David Lee, Eddy Curry, 3 million and 2011 Frist Round Pick

With the addition of Lee we can have a 10-man rotation of:

Lee/ Kristic
Green/Ibaka/Collison
Druant
Sefolosha/Harden
Westbrook/Maynor

DJ White, Weaver, Mullens are the young guys who can hopefully start maturing over the next years.

With the addition of Curry it will give use three expiring deals in Curry, Collison, and Kristic. If we can not re-sign Lee then we can do the same move next year and rent-a-(PF)player with thoes 3.

I'm watching David Lee also and his defense is just so terrible. He doesn't even get his arms up on Jermaine O'neal, hacks at his arms and he gets an and 1.

If Lee could play any defense he would be a great fit, but I dunno. I've always felt he could fit in and learn defense but he's just so bad.

How about

To OKC: Eddy Curry + 1st round pick 2011 unprotected + cash
To Knicks: Etan Thomas + Matt Harpring

next year just tell eddy curry to not show up lol we will pay him to stay home

and whats this have to do with David Lee?

lol just offer him a contract NEXT SUMMER (like you could have this summer). Taking on Curry would be a huge mistake. Still, he'd be my plan C or D.

I don't really think Lee fits you guys at all, don't see why you'd want him. I mean his rebounds would be great I guess for you guys and any time for that matter. But offensively he's really a system player. You already have good scorers in Durant(maybe a top 3 scorer in the NBA right now), Green, Westbrook, and Harden. Krstic also has a nice touch from the outside for a center. Can't see why you'd even consider Lee at his contract.
