Re: Congrats KD. 1st All star appearance (unconfirmed)
Durant isn't necessarily my favorite Thunder player every night, but I think it's an understatement to say that this is well deserved. Durant's numbers (and team record) reminds me of some of McGrady's years with the Magic in that there isn't anyone else on this team that would be on the Western Conference all-star 2nd team (and probably 3rd team)... yet, he's still leading his team to a playoff-ranking record in a very tough conference.
Hopefully the rest of the team can step up around his great play in the 2nd half and provide him a significant 2nd and 3rd option. There are a ton of good role players on this team, but at this point none have differentiated themselves.

Difference is that Tmac's guys were more usually plain suckers.
Ours players are still fairly young so no one can say they don't have a lot of room to improve.
I'm waiting and counting a lot on Harden and Westbrook on that matter.
And obviously, congrats to Kevin. He's playing like a borderline All NBA 1st team, so being an All Star was absolutely a no brainer.

Very well deserved.. KD's progression his first few years has been amazing. It's clear he works hard to get better and he's on a historic pace right now scoring the ball.
We're very lucky to have this guy.
