Better move, get Bosh from Toronto through a S&T or sign Lee

What do you guys think would be the better option?

Sign David Lee through free agency, which would be substantially cheaper, or try to work a S&T with Toronto for Bosh? Something like Green+fillers and a 2 1st's

I guess I'd rather have Bosh, but I'm not into giving maximum $$$ to Chris Bosh when we also have Kevin Durant. Don't think this market will support it, and it's asking for trouble down the road. It might make instant contenders out of us, but if it doesn't we might be screwed.

I'm not sure Toronto will get much of anything for Bosh if he leaves.. Bosh, and whoever his preferred team is, will hold all the leverage in negotiations. Bosh can just say, 'I'm going to sign with these guys, work out a S&T or I'll just take the five years instead'. Why would a team have to send more than draft picks to facilitate such a trade? Raptors will have zero leverage.

If David Lee is signed to a reasonable contract and we can unload Green for something else, I'd prefer that course of action.

I watched two Raps games this week against the Hawks and Thunder and all I'll say is: I don't want that jumpshooting wuss on this team!

Bosh is getting the MAX. PERIOD End of Story. I do not see the Thunder moving Green. HE is VERY important to this team. Both on and off the court. I think the Thunder will try to add a C, a PF, and a player who is going to be a project or a valuabe vet leader this off-season.

With Kristic and Collison in their last year of their deals we will need to have guys to push them and/or take their spots.

Right now we have a solid 7 guys who can give the team valuable minutes in: Durant, Green, Westbrook, Seflosha, Harden, Ibaka, and Maynor.

Then we have projects like Mullens, Whte, and Weaver.

if it gives us a chance at a ring, and more than that a dynasty I think its worth going balls out even if its a big risk

Getting Bosh through the trade wouldn't count against the cap although obviously what you would have to trade to balance the trade would. Absolute dream scenario would be trade Jeff Green and one of the 1sts for an expiring+one of the top 2-3 picks. Then sign Lee through FA and draft Cousins.

PG-Westbrook
SG-Harden/Sefalosha
SF-Durant
PF-Lee
C-Cousins/Ibaka

I watched two games of Lebron James where he shot horribly. I don't want that horrible shooter on my team!

Cousins would be perfect but Presti wont touch him

Doesn't make sense
When you have KD aka the 6'10 scoring machine and a bunch of rising stars like Jeff Green, Russel Westbrook and James Harden, the last thing you'll need is another scorer who doesn't play good defense.
OKC needs a role-player type big man who grabs rebounds and provides inside toughness.

Marcin Gortat would've made sense to me last year, but well...

In all honestly... I'd love to see Bosh paired up with KD.
Both Bosh and KD would get better.
Bosh has never played with a Defensive Center or a wing player better then Anthony Parker.

In all honesty you guys shouldn't make ANY move. A team that good that young? Why mess with a good thing?

And if you make any move it should not be for David Lee. That's the absolute worst move you can make. What makes the Thunder so special is that you guys play such great defense on top of having a top 10 PG and a top 32player overall in the NBA offensively.

Why mess with that formula by bringing in arguably the worst defensive player at his position in the league?

I agree, I'm one of the guys who hope Presti doesn't add a big time free agent. A defensive role player wouldnt mind me, but keep this core intact and give them a lot of playing time. It will help down the road.

my most reasonable ideal offseason at this point

trade green+pick(s) to move up and grab alabi

the end

+1 you are correct sir!

Avid Lee or Amare would be a better fit IMO

I have no idea if Krstic would be considered a defensive player? But something I just mentioned on the trade board, is the Thunder could sign Haywood then S&T for Bosh. Green, Collison, + whatever.

Starting line up of: Bosh, Durant, Haywood, Harden, Westbrook.
Bench: 1st round pick, Sefalosha, Ibaka, Krstic, Maynor, whatever else.

Looks pretty nice to me.
