USATF Olympics Trials.

Post#1 » by TheGlyde » Fri Jul 4, 2008 3:41 am

Well LaShawn Merritt just knocked off Warnier tonight in the 400m, 44.00 to 44.20 which has peaked my interest...

Anyone else watching? Earlier Gay won the 100m with a windy 9.68 (+4.1)...

Looking forward to watching the 200's...

Well the 200m was a great race with Dix narrowly edging out Crawford, Even though Gay wasn't there (cramped up in the heats) there were 4 athletes under 20seconds... there are times you don't even get that in the Olympic final...

Gotta feel sorry for Rodney Martin 4th in 19.99

Gay has apparently has a mild strain

Its looking like the Olympics will be great for USA track and field. I wanna see the big show down in the 4 x 100 meters. USA vs. Jamaica. I think that the duo of Bolt and Powell are a force to be reckoned with but the USA as a team might be too fast. Good to see Walter Dix going from the NCAA championship into the olympics.
