That's like being the world's smartest idiot.

im surprised there isnt a race crawl

I'm gonna push for Olympic short jump in 2012 if "race walking" stays.

I love watching the silly sports like table tennis or curling during the winter. I don't like the Men's Gymnastics floor routines. The floor exercises look fruitier than an orchard. The rings are freaking amazing. The ability to do that and the high bar and pommel horse looks super-human.

I love the marathon. It's great watching the mind over rule the body.

I've enjoyed watching team handball these Olympics. It's a more exciting version of soccer.

Before 2 nights ago I would have thought weightlifting is a crappy sport to watch but it was absolutely amazing. The emotion of the lifters are tremendous, and I loved it when the crowd cheered for the girl to add more weights and get the world record (which she did, TWICE).

- S.Swimming is weird , it looks like it shouldn't be there at the Olympics , it is more like a dance/cheerleader contest.

- Football (soccer) is in danger of getting cut. There is always a problem with the schedule of international competitions, fights involving clubs and federations , etc... It the International Olympic Committee decides to take it out of the games, I think they should replace it with Futsal (indoor soccer), wich fits better in the olympics and is getting more popular around the world.

- Shooting , with rifles, is more in tune with military and "police academy" type of events. I think archery would be allright if the modern bows were replaced with old-school ones ( Robin Hood comes to mind).

- As far as martial arts go, Karate would make more sense than Taekwondo. It would be more diverse, with top athletes coming from more countries than in TKD. Olympic boxing is too damn boring with the point system and guys wearing helmets and shirts.

- The "dressage" category in Equestrian also puzzles me, I don't see a good reason to keep it in the games.

- The "solo" category in gymnastics would be better without stupid dance choreographies and more emphasys in the athletic part of it. Trampoline looks kinda pointless to me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WH3cSu6 ... re=related), it belogs to a circus. Rhythmic Gymnastics too.

- Rugby would be nice, but the players need too much time to recover after the games. It wouldn't fit with the tight schedule of the olympics.

Any sports that's just a race, rather than a game. There is nothing more boring than people biking, or running, or swimming (similar problems with javelin, weightlifting, jumping type events).

BASEBALL. I'm so glad they will take it out of the Olympics. This is not a sport and should be banned for being outrageously boring and nonathletic.

Watching race walking now. Really sucks! Either run, jog or walk sheesh. Also the rules concerning disqualification are so subjection. I mean, its suppose to be if you don't keep constant contact with the pavement, but how are you going to judge that unless its blatant?

And people complain about gymnastics judging!

The US isn't even the best baseball nation. But baseball is a great sport. I don't see how anyone could find baseball more boring that soccer.
