Man. Did not expect Austrellia to win. Especially like this. Also did not expect Delly to just shred their defense all day

I really thought France would get this one, but they've been awful almost the entire game. This was system and team play beating individual talent.

Is it just me or is this game making me question Gobert a bit? Obviously because of age, Gobert the better asset but Bogut looks like the much better player. I am wondering if he will show more offense with the Mavs getting more touches outside the Warriors. As a Warriors fan, I personally hadn't seen Bogut move like this in awhile and wonder if it was by design a bit.

This is that tough France squad that the US media was saying is our biggest threat? If only our "basketball analysts" watched their exhibition games and the olympic qualifiers (where they barely got by a semi-pro Canadian squad). We always judge other countries based on the amount of NBA talent on their squad. smh

Gobert yet to look good in FIBA competition, especially on D. Valanciunas ate him alive last year.
Ajinca is such a better FIBA option, hes a big loss.

There's a reason why Bogut was a #1 draft pick and Gobert wasn't.

The French kept ball watching and were taken back door the entire game. Nice team play by Australia: almost every basket was assisted. But the real question I have is why Tony Parker only played 20 minutes. He got France back into the game in Q2 but was not a factor in the second half.

I can already see where this is going. France gets fourth place in Group A, faces Spain in the quarterfinals. Upsets Spain. Just like in 2014.

Wow, we crushed them. France's defense utterly non-existent. Also Gobert sux lel

This is a bit of an overreaction

Bogut is a tremendous player. GSW is going to miss him. Picking up Zaza will help though.

Australia's defense is pretty tough and in the starting lineup they have 4 decent passing players and 3 guys that can hit the 3 at 40+

Decent frog splash from Lowry. Good thing he's alright.

That was a tough hit. I was surprised he got up instantly

I'm surprised at how far has Green fallen in the rotation. His playstyle is perfect for FIBA

Ok so this IS the game thread? Been searching...! That young center Zhou Qi looks promising. Rejected demarcus early on.

Paul George looks so much stronger than before he injured his leg in 2014.

Inasmuch as they are absolutely dominating, it's even more on defense. 6 made shots and 10 TOs.
