We saw it against the Clippers, if you just need one game I don’t think anyone should doubt Doncic.

They still went by “Yugoslavia” until 2002, though it was just Serbs and Montenegrins.

Great job USA, that first half was fantastic by us but you took the punches and totalled us in that third. Durant has to be some kind of perfected basketballing machine from the future right? He is just not human.

Anyway, another five hours until the Slovenia/France match (9pm Eastern Australian, 7am Eastern USA), so get some rest and get ready for the Luka show.

A lot of the scheduling is being dictated by NBC who want certain events in their prime time. Money talks, or in this case creates the schedule. That’s why the swimming finals where on in the morning Tokyo time.

You're talking about FIBA Patty Mills. NBA Patty mills is a notch or two lower.

Ben dropped his bottom lip when he didn’t get selected for the Boomers World Cup team when he was 18. Ever since then he has been playing chicken with the Australian team. Comes out through each World Cup or Olympics cycle saying how he wants to play for Australia but then finds some reason to pull out usually in the last leg of preparations in the lead up to the tournament.

This time he said he wanted to focus on improving his skills this off-season. Of course I would have thought that getting into locker room and on the court with the likes of Mills and Ingles would be far more beneficial than sitting in the stands of Wimbledon but hey I’m just a casual fan so what do I know.

The apple has fallen far from the tree. His old man is a national treasure. Don’t know where his smug entitled attitude comes from.

Best iso player I've ever seen. Only Jordan comes close.

For example, the scheduling of the olympics during a global pandemic.

In the basketball, fair.

However, there's plenty of other sports where the USA fanbase/commentators show plenty of arrogance when the results don't back it up to that extent.

USA just had too much talent in the end.

Great first half from the Boomers (shame about the last couple of minutes though).

We played great defense on KD plenty of times, only for his offense to be better. Lavine played very nicely too.

As a Portland fan, I agree that Dame doesn't suit FIBA - he hasn't look good so far.
