Is it worth watching a replay?

Watch the first 1.5 quarters and pretend that’s the end.

Lol, and why does it have the highest immigration rate (illegal and otherwise) in the world? Granted, inclusion comes with a host of collateral factors, both good and bad.

Don’t watch too much cable news kids.

Well immigration is based off what the government allows into the country. Australia caps it at around 200,000 but millions apply.

Also your illegal immigration is rampant because you’re close to some of the poorest countries in the world.

At the end of the day, it’s a personal preference to what country a person likes. I’ve lived LA and London during my 20’s and had the time of my life. Travel to other countries was easy, cost of living is low, ability to go to NBA games. But now I’m in my 30’s with kids, there’s no place I’d rather be than Australia.

I was being slightly tongue in cheek, but countries all over the world know we can be bombarded illegally at will and needless to say it is taken advantage of. The illegal immigrant population in the states will likely rival the entire population of Australia within the next 2-3 years (the total immigrant population obviously far exceeds it).

The poster had a comment about free health care, etc. Needless to say, in this country it is not exactly as simple as most.

Might as well watch it.

Using a VPN and I actually believed the game was on at 10pm Aussie eastern time :x

Just put a pork roast on and have beers cold to settle in. Won't go to waste. Might go to my waist though

You guys really jinxing this

France has Gobert - defensive player of the year guy (who can stand below the basket because of the rules)
France has Fournier - which in FIBA basket is a great player
France has Batum - A great wing defender
France has Nando De Colo - One of the best Euroleauge players
France has a ton of athleticism.

I expect France to win it. I hope they don't, but sadly I think they will

Funny stuff to watch is the rebounding battle. These two are the best 2 rebounding teams in the tournament. Slovenia actually being the best by a margin of 10 rebounds more per game. Which is absurd, but I think today France actually will get the rebounding battle

Seems like life will stop in Slovenia. I heard from several people that their office will shut down to watch the game. Ours too. :hoop:

I'm a pessimist about the outcome tho...

Rooting hard for Slovenia there, even if France is favorite to win. Anyway, I think both teams will give us a good final against USA.

Being it Doncic or the France NBA crew, they will be used to both facing NBA competition and playing in a FIBA context, you need this to have a chance against USA.

I actually feel Slovenia will win pretty easly. The flow of their game is just amazing. Luka knows how to abuse slow centers and Gobert/Fall/Poirier will suffer a lot.

They might win, probably won't, but easy it's not going be.

Surely the media/nba have Gobert fatigue by now, I don’t want to see him voted DPOY ever again.

Who'd have thought that Mike Tobey would be the second best US player at the Olympics...

When people start posting about stereotypes, politics, healthcare of different countries…on a basketball forum….then you know someone got their ass whooped.
