If KD doesn’t do his thing, the US could have been looking at a 25-30 point deficit instead of 15 and it might just have been too much to claw back

Instead, KD kept them relatively close and in the 2nd half they finally started making their 3’s while the Australians cooled down after looking like they couldn’t miss from 3 in the 1st half

LaVine was good on both ends despite some of the comments to the contrary, the US needs to find the right rotation, they still look like they don’t have any chemistry out there

Anybody watching these games can clearly see why KD is the nest basketball player in the world and it's not even close. Without KD, the US team does not make it to the finals. It's KD and a bunch of all-stars.

Fournier is really bad, not great IQ, not a good passer, decent shooter (but takes plenty of bad shots so he's still inefficient) and also a bad defender. Knicks are stupid with that contract.
When this account gets more "And1"s than posts written ...then my life will be complete. And maybe it will be the right time to hang it up. (Achieved on 2017-2018 season)...but still here.

Doncic complains quite a bit internationally as well... Ugh.

More like we can clearly see how he doesn’t make his teammates better. If Lebron was on this team we’d say “of course they win every game, the roster is loaded”.

Umm have you seen the talent difference?

I have what Luka is doing right now as way harder then Durant.

If the US don’t get the gold comfortably it’s a massive choke job.

Dragic is worthless in this game.

Really bad basketball by Slovenia right now. Stupid fouls Doncic isn't playing well too, at least shooting wise. Same problem as always, seems to let himself get worked up.

I don't know how warriors fans make it through the year having to listen to Bob Fitzgerald nightly. It is really tough.

The Best Basketball player isn't at the Olympics. KD is the best player on the team, but Jrue is the most important.

I feel like France should win this… the way these rosters are set up it’s incredibly hard for 1 guy to totally shoulder a win. France has the more balanced squad but we’ll see. This game is def up for grabs at the moment. France only up 7

Australia should be favourites against Slovenia, especially with their defense.

Hope this result goes that way and their hard work pays off in a few days.

Inefficient? He's 59.5 and 59.8 TS% in the last two seasons, and that's while playing on a horrible offensive team where he was forced to take a lot of bailout tough shots. And he's a lot better than "decent" shooter".
