Also karma never fails. McEwen lost the jump off. He wouldn't share gold, he got the silver.

If the americans lose the medal race to China, remember his name...and don't let him on the plane.

Why wouldn’t he share the gold? That makes no sense.

Yeah, I'm thinking you have the gold right there...take it...and let the guy you competed with get his share..you both win. But mainly you secure gold.

Seemed dumb.

You know what’s funny, a gold medalist is a gold medalist even if it’s shared. I wonder if that is his personality trait, he wants it to himself. Well great, now you get to go and think about it for 4 years. That could have been his only shot of ever getting gold.

Won't catch another Olympics again.

They showed China up 37-35 in golds before the relays and basketball, so I figured we could win gold 38-37, as long as China doesn't win the marathon tomorrow. So I thought it would be tied now, but looking online it says 37-36...so maybe when they took a break and showed the medal count it was between the relays...though I don't think it was.

Is everything else finished but basketball and the marathon tomorrow?

The money opportunities that he would have gotten with gold…boy. That one is going to haunt him.

I just realized that LA28 won’t just be home advantage for USA. So many other athletes that represent other nations train here.

No. USA has basketball women, Volleyball women and a girl in the finals in a wrestling category as well.

China has another girl coming up in a boxing category and one tomorrow in weightlifting.

That's it, they can get 2 more golds.

Assuming USA men beat France right now, it's gonna be tied in golds.

And then USA can get 3 more, China only 2.

Yeah, I just checked again and it's 38-37 in golds, China. So they must have won another one in the last half hour. I thought basketball women already won. Not that I really care that much who has more golds.

You can also blame our dumb 4x100 relay team.

I put up a new poll. Had to leave some good ones off...but ones either we didn't win gold in or I thought wouldn't get votes. 100M Mens hurdles, where Holloway took gold and Roberts silver. Then the 5000M men which had a great finish as well as the 10000M men. And the Mens 200, where we got silver and bronze. But I think none of those get votes over the ones listed.

Well, and the damn 4x100M could have easily have gold if they had their heads screwed on right.
