Australia aren't a team to take lightly. They have some NBA players on the team.

Our defense was horrible to start and our halfcourt offense is still not good.

This game shows how much the NBA's extremely lax rules on carry, travel, defensive 3 seconds, matter for athletic wing players. It's not that these aren't the greatest wing players, it's that they look better than they are in the NBA cmopared to even the 90s where rules were different. Big man in the paint really matters! Not being allowed to carry, stop and go dribble. really matters!

FIBA game is more like 90s game.

Spurs need to try starting Mills. Can't watch Parker starting on that team anymore.

No contract and sponsorship at stake on team USA. Melo was always about the money.

Excellent team play by Australia, if Durant stays cold, they could easily steal this one.

Only if Australia keeps shooting 68% and the U.S. keeps shooting 37%. That's pretty much the only way.

Don't think that holds up though. A lot of lackadaisical play out there by a lot of players.. on defense especially. All about effort right now being the difference of a 20 pt U.S. lead and a 5 pt Australia lead.

Hes never had a really good team besides once when he was fairly young. I think hed be good on the cavs when most people say its a bad fit.

I see no problem with him staying in ny and taking money. good for him

What I like about FIBA game is that it is more about quick, decisive movements, notice how there is zero of that standing around dribbling and then screen and go to basket. Can't do that with a paint camper.
