Strong 2002 vibes from this USA team.Awful job by coach K.Didnt he say that this team would play suffocating defense? They just gave up 55 points in 20 minutes against Australia.

If that were the case, the refs would call every illegal screen that Australia set in the first half which was too many to count. Half of the 3 pt shots seem to have illegal screens.
I don't think the U.S. needs any help from the officials to win this game at all. They could win comfortably 5 on 8.

No contract and sponsorship at stake on team USA. Melo was always about the money.
Hes never had a really good team besides once when he was fairly young. I think hed be good on the cavs when most people say its a bad fit.
I see no problem with him staying in ny and taking money. good for him
Bails for Chicago: LOSER! Wow nobody wants to compete anymore.
Stays in New York: Wow he only cares about money, what a loser.

What about Kyrie? You know, the guy that got your team the championship.

US losing would be great for ratings, so not sure why they would want to rig it for US.

Im not almost, I fully am. Sorry there are just so many unlikable players on this USA team and I 100% would rather root for Delly than Klay, Draymond, Durant, Lowry, Cousins and Jordan. The only 3 players on that entire team that are likable are Kyrie, George and Butler.
The only way they could have assembled a team with more crybaby unlikable players on it would be to replace George with Blake Griffin and Butler with James Harden.

Love the Aussie mentality. Not scared of the US at all. Scrubs like David Andersen going off.

Will KD work on getting dual citizenship if Australia wins?

Andersen is a fantastic offensive player, hardly surprising... He wins championships whichever team he plays for in the Euro league, just came off winning a championship. Guy can score.

USA got to respect his shot that D that they are playing on him and switching smaller players is going to hurt them.

There's no shame in rooting for the underdog even if you're American. It's basketball, not war.

But he's not, so that's moot.

He'd make shots for Australia because a playmaker like Delly would find open shots for him
