This is a thread for posting about exhibition games from other countries, so we can see their build up for the games.

So far Spain has played 5 exhibition games, with their final one coming July 28th. They are 3-2, and after losing two games to Lithuania. Knicks rookie Kuzminskas played really well.

Spain 85, Angola 61
Spain 83, Lithuania 87
Spain 76, Lithuania 78
Spain 80, Venezuela 65
Spain 91, Venezuela 55

Other countries

Australia 84, Argentina 83

Please add if you know of more.

The Spanish team is typically very fun to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing them as well as the likes of Argentina, France, Croatia, Serbia & Lithuania.

Thank you for starting this!

Argentina 86, Lithuania 85 (2ot)
Crazy, great game. Lots of fun to watch. Lithuania's got a very talented squad, they were in control for most of the game, but they made some mental mistakes that are expected to be made only during friendlies (not in Río). Valanciunas got shut down (I still can't understand how), but the rest of the team stepped up.
Argentina's grandpas played great, and the youngsters had an increased role in closing minutes and they did ok, specially Laprovittola being aggressive (the same with Lithuania's bench players, they were excellent).
Campazzo is a beast.

You are correct. I'll change that.

JLTV,

You have any other Lithuania scores? Beating Spain twice is super impressive.

Wow, things are not looking for for Non-US teams. The USA murdered Argentina, while Argetina beats Lithuania, who beat Spain.

USA will kill anyone regardless. Since the 2008 olympics, I started enjoying the competition for what it's worth, knowing that the US is miles ahead of anyone else and the gold is guaranteed for them. That's why I think the fight for second place being competitive as it appears to be right now is a positive thing. I will always enjoy watching Argentina-Lithuania or say Spain-Australia much more than sitting through a 80 point US win over Nigeria.

Spain was right there until the end in 2012 Gold medal game. And looked like they had a shot to beat them in 2014 World Cup, before blowing it against France in the qtrs. But without Marc, and Pau getting a bit old, they've lost their biggest advantage, which was their post game, against the USA.

Brasil's friendlies so far:

Couple of blow out against Romania
Brasil 96 x 67 Australia
Brasil 91 x 52 China

Two very good defensive games.

Raul Neto with two very good games. Nene is in the best shape I've seen in a while.

But I'm concerned about the lack of three point shooting. In 1st round we'll play against Lithuania, Spain (I'll be there), Croatia (I'll be there), Argentina (I'll be there) and Nigeria. This is a very tough group. We'll need to improve our three point shooting. Leandrinho will have to step up and Nene and Felicio will have to dominate the boards in other to beat 3 in 5 and avoid facing USA in quarterfinals.

What's your predictions for this group?

1st tier
Lithuania
Spain

2nd tier
Brasil
Argentina
Croatia

3rd tier
Nigeria

Very hard to predict any outcome.

Wow, Brazil is playing very well. We will see how things go once it counts, but how great would it be to watch USA v Brazil in the finals? Australia has been disappointing thus far. I was expecting them to be the dark horse in the olympics.
