If I had to bet, I would second that. But as Lithuanian fan, I really hope my team pulls it of and sends Kangaroos home.

Croatia won only once on some friendly tournament in London, all other matches were won by Serbia. Also when back than Yugoslavia took gold in Athens (not Olympics) Yugoslavia was actually Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia took 3rd place than.

We never won against Lithuania too before the tournament.
Spain has been killing us every time since 2005 when we all know what happened.
We used to lose tight games....now we win them. Times change. :D

These guys are crazy. They should not have been here in the first place. After they qualified they were considered lucky if they advanced trough and now ended up winning the group of death.

Australia is still figuring out who the backup guards are, they've been using Broekoff at the 2 and Lisch's minutes have dropped, while Martin's have increased, I still say the should have taken Newley, they could have used his size on the wing, plus he's a proven contributor at this level...

I believe Bairstow is a gametime decision but unlikely... shoulda brought Jawaii instead of Motum...

That is the game I am most interested in, so naturally it is the one which I will not be able to watch live. I do think that the Australians just might be too much for anyone right now.

I cannot get excited for the United States game. I just can't get behind this team. I hope to see something different from them in the knockout phase.

i'm excited for Team USA women's.

the league MVP is coming off the bench. that team legit reminds me of the 08 redeem team and 92 dream team. the roster is all MVPs/former MVPs/multiple first team all-WNBA players.

the 10 best bball players in the tournament are on one team. and they play hard and smart (at least compared to Team USA men's)

I've only caught bits of the US Women's team. I'll try to check out the game against Japan later today. Nice to know that some are playing with heart.

Other than Ginobili, does America have anyone to worry about on Argentina?

Argentina is another team where it is not the individual players who are the concern - it's the consistent team play that could be tough for the USA.

Scola and Nocioni. They always find a way to score 15-20 + points for Argentina. They wont be scared by the NBA names and in FIBA ball they look better defensively.

Crazy how both Lithuania and Argentina finished 3rd and 4th despite being in my opinion the two most impressive teams in their group to date.
