Looks like Team USA showed up!

Sort of. Argentina isn't very good so we should be whipping their butts. Spain's gonna be a whole different beast. Might actually be able to beat us after all these years.

Spain had a much better team in 2008 and 2012 (US too). Spain will be tougher than Arg but his chances to win are very very low.

Bravo to the Argentinian fans cheering their legends to the very end. Coach bringing them back on despite the blowout is a salute to the unbelievable support from their fans, great moment!!

A good win, a much improved defensive performance, even if it was still inconsistent. We can't allow these large lulls against Spain or else they'll beat us, plain and simple. We used our mismatches wisely, particularly down low with Cousins and managed to have good stretches of team basketball. It is a performance to build on, but still leaves plenty to be desired.

Much respect to Manu Ginobili. First-ballot Hall of Famer.

Love the respect that the crowd & Team USA are showing Argentina.

Man is it dusty in here..or am I really watering up with this crowd and Manu walking off the court for the last time in an Argentinian jersey.

What an amazing crowd and people. Singing and chanting even as this ship is going down. This is what humanity should be about.

Also massive respect to Manu Ginobili. The guy is a legendary basketball player. If he hadn't been such a team-first guy and stayed in San Antonio his entire career, he could've become more recognized because his abilities, particularly at his peak, were incredible. Even tonight he showed flashes of his brilliance and he's always been great to watch. He's amongst my favorite shooting guards of all time, that's for sure.

I am going to miss this group of Argentinians. Ginobili was so emotional out there at the end and was crying when his teammates started to hug him. Their fans felt it too because they know this is probably the last time he will play for Argentina. A true legend.

Argentina fans support their team in all sports. In Europe the best atmopshere in basketball courts are in Greece and Serbia. On the other hand, almost every soccer team have its own group of "ultras".

This video is just incredible:

Man, Ginobili couldn't make it through the postgame interview. Playing for Argentina was everything for him.

A word that gets thrown around a lot, but I don't think it's a stretch to call him a genius. You just don't see that level of creativity very often. And such a hard-core competitor.

Likewise!

It would be nice to finally see a competitive match in the quarterfinals.

p.s it's a shame they put Serbia-Croatia as the last game tonight, it will start at 3:15 AM over here in Europe (central European time-zone), but many will stay awake nonetheless 8-)

Me too. The "Once Brothers" 30 for 30 damn near made me cry, I'm fascinated to see them compete nowadays! I reckon it'll be fiery as ever.

Hopefully the last game will be a bloodbath till the final whistle. As 3 blowouts so far have been a let down.

You should lend Bogut to Croatia, you know, him being full-blooded Croatian and all that :D
