I am watching this one on spanish tv, which might not be available there, but the BBC link plus the browser plugin posted in the previous page worked fine.

French team is like "Spank me guapa" lol.

Spain is killing us, they are so much better they know what they are doing. We have no solution right now.

But actually I felt so right before the game, I'm not even mad. Actually losing to them in overtime last summer at home during Eurobasket killed me inside and my support of the French NT

So hard to get used to Gasol just standing under the basket as long as he wants on defence regardless of where the player he's supposed to be defending is. There's a reason the NBA has the 3 second defence call, without it dribble drives into the paint are really difficult and usually result in a turnover or missed shot.

If you don't think that's a pretty game for you guys then I don't know. Mirotic is ballin from 3 and you guys are killings us in transitional play whereas we can't find our rythm. I think that's the key word, Spain is playing at their cruising speed.

Gasol is not making work in the paint but I'm scared that if we go for the 3-ball, we open up for him and whenever as hard as USA fans might think Gobert is the future Mutombo, Gasol will eat him alive. We let Spain too much 2nd chance possession too.

As he did in the Euro semi-final last year. I don´t get the hype too...

It seems France has definitely lost the edge while Spain still has some in it (both are missing players). But game is not closed yet and you stil have some good talent.

Mirotic finally doing well in the scoring department is crucial for a declining Spain.

As nearly as usual for all the fuss about France has so much NBA players blablablah, Spain is also killing us physically/athletically. Lenght, power, dynamism...

Spain really cruising by France, not even plays with full strength. France too wild in Attack, bad in D.

Honestly I felt too much it was like the Parker Generation jubilee during the whole preparation and before the tournament...

Then now we can't score for **** and we need hunger... Batum is a coward every other game, De Colo is pedantic, Heurtel tried but didn't impact... I would love to have a guard competing and going at it no matter what and that can make so long distance shoot... Maybe like Evan Fournier

Gobert is SO limited offensively. Impressive what a FIBA game can show instead of an NBA game. The guy can only dunk.
As for the game....even rubio scored a 3. Enough said. Sad because i was waiting for a derby....

That posibility is begining to look like an interesting game after Spain´s come back. Great defence and solid game for them, plus the late hints of class from el Chacho and Navarro. Loving the minutes Willy the kid is getting too.

Gobert does what's important in the NBA for a centre - rebound, block shots and play top tier defence while dunking lobs. Pau Gasol is better in international basketball only because he can stand under the basket on defence all day long and not worry about getting a 3 second call. It makes getting a layup or dunk against Spain really difficult because there's virtually always a 7 foot defender in the paint waiting to block or contest the shot.

On the other end Gasol can shoot from the perimeter so Gobert doesn't have the same luxury of just parking himself under the basket for the whole possession.

That's where I don't agree, I don't feel like gobert is a "top tier" defender... Or if so maybe like Ibaka. Don't get me wrong he's very valuable to a NBA team but he's lightyears away from Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan anchoring your D contrary to some might think.
