I caught some of the USA/France game just now. It was never a contest, but the ball movement the USA women were showing was beautiful!

Hoping we can make the gold medal game. First time in a while the women arent gonna get a medal.

I hope Spain goes through. They've worked really hard as a team for many years and it shows.

Coach Djordjevic of Serbia stated that in the game against Australia in the pool play Serbia did not respond fully to Australian tempo for at least five minutes. That is what cannot happen in this game he added.

Spain deserves to finally get a Gold Medal. We totally deserved it back in 2008 when the USA beat us by travelling in every single play with the refs' complicity. In 2012 it was another hard-fought, close game and lost it in the last possessions of that game. I think this year the Gold should be ours, our team is fyring on all cylinders at the right time, let's see what happens today...

I am rooting for a Serbia vs Spain finals

Serbia - because its my country and Spain because I prefer this Spanish team and the way they are playing to the USA ISO ball.

I honestly think that USA and Spain are on the same level on this tournament so I wouldnt prefer playing either team and if we do not beat Australia which is playing great I dont think we have a good chance against neither USA or Spain for the bronze.

We need to play our best ball if we are to beat Australia and that might be our best chance for a medal.

Good luck everyone! Let's go Spain, defeat Goliath and make Pau our best athlete in spanish history!
