The Americans rooting against Team USA will have to crawl back into their holes until 2019 I suppose, but whatever. I get it, for all the flack Coach K has gotten, dude has literally lost a single game as Team USA coach. Hard to argue with the man's record. 61-1. And if Kobe would've played in 2006, he would have gone 62-0.

nah I think most people just want to see better basketball in the summer... lots of people love FIBA rules. Thing is, whenever team USA loses they get serious and come back stronger, which is awesome, and everybody else gets motivated to get better and keep trying to beat them. The whole thing becomes more interesting and competitive.

I don't think anyone seriously believes USA could be anything but #1 in basketball, they could split up their talent in 3 and win gold, silver and bronze. But still, in a short tournament with knock out games anything can happen, and it's nice to watch.

The foul called on Mills with 5 seconds remaining that gave bronze to Spain. Had there instead been a foul called on Gasol's clear over the back in the rebounding contest, things might have been very very different.

One of the worst calls in basketball history :banghead: :banghead:

They were terrible all game
Sometimes a player's greatest challenge is coming to grips with his role on the team
