Hey guys, I decided to start a new dynasty league; reverse snake draft will start when we fill up, and will have a $20 buy in. We have 4 so far.

The rules are as follows:


League Rules



1. As a dynasty league, all managers will retain a roster of 15 NBA players carried forward each season.

2. Starting the last Saturday in September, a two-player, off-line draft will be held. Managers will ONLY be able to fill their D-League rosters with rookies drafted IN THE CURRENT YEAR into the NBA. It will be a straight draft so the draft order remains the same in each round.

3. The offline draft window will officially be between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. EST. Managers will have eight hours (within the draft window) to make a selection. If a manager misses their window, they will have until the end of the draft to make a pick. Managers may make their pick outside the official draft window, but are not required to do so.

4. Any undrafted players with less than 246 games of experience may be picked up off waivers or free agency. Once a player is on a manager's NBA roster, the owner of said player may opt to send him to the D-League.

5. D-League players can be called up at any time and will count toward the league’s 40 roster acquisitions. Only players with less than 246 games of experience may be sent down. Free agents, with less than 246 games of experience, picked up by a manager, must appear on said manager's NBA roster before the player can be sent down to the D-League. Call-ups/demotions should be posted on the message board.

6. Prospects can remain on D-League rosters until they have appeared in 246 NBA games. Once the 246-game protection has ended, a manager has until the beginning of the following season to decide whether or not to call up, trade, or lose the prospect to free agency. Managers are responsible for keeping track of their own players. Call-ups should be made before the keeper deadline.

7. The keeper deadline will be the second Saturday in October.

8. Once rosters are set, remaining players will be placed on waivers with order being reverse standings from the previous year.

9. A maximum of six players can be kept on a D-League roster at one time.

10. A team's D-League roster and future draft picks will continually be updated via Google Spreadsheets.

11. Trades can involve NBA players, prospects, and/or draft picks.

12. Trades entailing draft picks or D-League players must be posted on the message board for approval. Trades involving NBA players can be proposed per usual.

13. There will be a 24-hour waiting period starting from the time a trade is approved by the parties involved. Managers may use that window to contest the trade. If a league majority has not objected, the trade will be approved by the commissioner or co-commissioner. Should a trade be rejected, the managers involved will have the opportunity to re-work the trade. There will be an eight-hour review period for trades involving picks in the midst of a draft.

14. Draft order will be determined as follows - non-playoff teams will be entered into a lottery draft. Order will be determined using www.draftpicklottery.com/

The team with the worst record will receive X number of balls where X is the number of teams which didn't make the league playoffs. The team with the second worst record will receive X-1 balls, third worst X-2, and so on.

Playoff teams will then be ordered by regular season finish by win percentage. The team with the best win percentage will draft last. (This rule is subject to change)

15. League participation is mandatory so we all have fun. If a roster is inactive for more than two weeks, without notification to the league commissioner(s), said manager will be removed from the league and a new manager will be sought.

16. League managers retain the right to suggest changes or additional rules to be enacted at the start of the following season. Such proposals will be put to a league vote. Majority rule will be the final decision.

League is H2H, categories as follows:

Field Goals Made (FGM), Free Throws Made (FTM), 3-point Shots Made (3PTM), Points Scored (PTS), Total Rebounds (REB), Assists (AST), Steals (ST), Blocked Shots (BLK)



Rosters will be:

PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, Util, Util, Util, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IL+, IL+, IL+, IL+



Buy in will be $20, with $40 going to the regular season champ, $120 to the winner of the playoffs, $60 to 2nd place in the playoffs, and $20 to 3rd place in the playoffs., provided we fill the league with 12 teams.
