 Hell yeah. If Brian is retiring for sure, then we'll have an open slot for Jordan anyway.

Congrats RGM for the win. Hopefully we'll get a chance to redeem ourselves down the line. We made a push at the end, as mentioned, but that early-season hole - dug mostly by me - was too much to overcome.

Worst slow draft team ever? My draft basically netted me three useful players in the context of the entire season:

1. (6) Dwyane Wade (Mia - PG,SG)
2. (27) Blake Griffin (LAC - PF,C)
3. (38) Andre Iguodala (Phi - SG,SF)
4. (59) Andray Blatche (Was - PF,C)
5. (70) DeMar DeRozan (Tor - SG,SF)
6. (91) Mo Williams (LAC - PG,SG)
7. (102) Austin Daye (Det - SF,PF)
8. (123) Ed Davis (Tor - PF,C)
9. (134) Charlie Villanueva (Det - PF)
10. (155) Kendrick Perkins (OKC - C)
11. (166) Jimmer Fredette (Sac - PG,SG)
12. (187) Shannon Brown (Pho - SG,SF)
13. (198) Ramon Sessions (LAL - PG,SG)
14. (219) Damion James (NJ - SG,SF)

I think you can count Mo in as well but yeah it looks fairly brutal.

My draft was just slightly better.

1. (8) Kevin Love PF,C - Monster season
2. (25) Josh Smith SF,PF - Great finish, 18th overall per game rank
3. (40) Raymond Felton PG,SG - Sucked balls. 144th per game rank, traded him halfway through the season for David West who put up top-100 value, in the end, huge loss of value in this pick
4. (57) Nene Hilario PF,C - 96th per game rank with 27 missed games. Yikes.
5. (72) Wesley Matthews SG,SF - top-50; won the season for me
6. (89) DeMarcus Cousins PF,C - top 60 with a strong midseason
7. (104) Hedo Turkoglu SF,PF - 164th per game rank and missed the last 2 rounds of playoffs :-?
8. (121) Amir Johnson PF,C - 136th rank, just a meh season
9. (136) Kemba Walker PG,SG - 162nd rank, just a FG% nightmare
10. (153) Darko Milicic C - Let's just move on
11. (168) Grant Hill SF,PF - 160th per game rank, 25 missed games.
12. (185) Goran Dragic PG,SG -Dropped him before the season started when CP3-Lakers deal failed
13. (200) Wilson Chandler SG,SF - Dropped him before the season started
14. (217) J.R. Smith SG,SF - Dropped him before the season started

Overall only 4 players outplayed their draft position (Love, Smitty, Matthews and DMC).

I've un-retired, as you know...and hope to be back for this league.

:) Yeah, I'm glad to hear that. After your performance this year, obviously a spot on realgm team is yours.

Thanks Gokce. Let's hope we can get someone to offer me a drunk deal again this next year. 8-)

I thought that was a bad deal for you, except that, the next day Horford went out for the remainder of the season

So when do we get this league up and running again?

I e-mailed Red from Cafe a few days ago, we are exchanging e-mails at the moment. You'll be contacted in a few days.

We'll probably handle the administrative part of the league during early & mid- August and start with the draft sometime around late August - early September.
