Ok, I was confused there. Mine reads:

2010 - My 1st, My 2nd
2011 - My 1st owed to Sly, My 2nd
2012 - The world is ending so it doesn't matter. (my 1st and my 2nd)

2010- My 1st, My 2nd
2011- My 1st, My 2nd
2012 - My 1st, My 2nd

P.S. Why did Yahoo! remove the IL system in the first place?
Why the schlong face?

fixed.

TheMan's Future picks.

2010 My 1st, Skai's 1st (part of the Maggette / Monta trade), My 2nd.
2011- My 1st, My 2nd
2012 - My 1st, My 2nd (The world is ending so trade me your picks)

Skai wrote:P.S. Why did Yahoo! remove the IL system in the first place?

Because the NBA did. NBA teams can have up to 15 players but only 12 can be active for a game. To get around this teams would have to claim their scrubs had a thumb injury and put them on the IL until a legit player got hurt. Now, with the NBDL team simple have 12 active players and 3 inactive who can either watch in street close or be in the D-League.

Yahoo still has IL for baseball.

Ah merci TheMan, that trade completely slipped my mind. That pick is going to be valuable.

It slipped my mind too until about a month ago when I came across an email I had sent a friend discussing the trade. I then looked at the standings and was very happy.

Please, tank; John Wall would be a perfect addition to the team.

I think my picks from 2010-2012 are intact, definitely the 1st rounders...I knew I couldn't lose those.

Wow Sly, I just saw the league board, and TALK about your streaming! WOW!...:)

Speaking of streaming, some will notice that I just added and then dropped Jared Jeffries, then added DeJuan Blair. I would like to point out to Carl that this not categorized as streaming, but categorized as:

Oh my gosh, I just added Jared Jeffries...what was I thinking?!

In such instances in which a manager is inclined to believe that Jeffries has any fantasy value whatsoever, that manager is allowed a short grace period to come to his senses and then is allowed to summarily drop Jeffries.

theman wrote:Two things.
1) Is is possible to remove the stats Dorrell Wright scored for Stanford yesterday? Not that it is a big deal (except for BWW), but could be a consideration.

2) As I said before. I thought Oden should have been returned to Stanford immediately, but if he was going to lose him it should be to me.

3) I do not think you should be penalized for something you were not involved with, therefore, I do not think me receiving your draft pick makes sense. Perhaps some extra ping pong balls would make more sense?

Returning Oden to Stanford works for me. And I think giving theman more balls is good compensation.

2010 - My 1st, My 2nd
2011- My 1st, My 2nd
2012 - My 1st, My 2nd

I also agree wth everyone who prefered lotto balls over Craig's pick.

Just curious as to why TheMan should get Wright though. Shouldn't he be getting back the player he dropped for Oden?

... because theman had his roster restricted while there was no league action on the issue. He could have gotten Wright or any other player off the wire. And determining who gets Wright is also problematic; so, I think rewarding him to theman makes the most sense.

... Giving more lottery balls becomes problematic. Extra lottery balls comes from the expense of the league as a whole. My pick will be transferred instead.

Sly, I don't deserve your pick, therefore I am declining it. I think things are cool as they are.

HUGE TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with great sadness of heart that I announce TheTeam has traded the great Shaquille O'Neal to the RamblingMatadors (aka writersblocker) for a 2012 second round draft pick. The Big Aristotle was an original member of The Team (when we were know as The Men) and provided through the years great scoring, rebounding, shot blocking and legendary field goal percentage. He even provide a lot a assists from the center position.

We will miss the big fella but feel it was time to move on. We wish him well in his new endeavors.

Wow, and here was me thinking about offering a 2011 second rounder. Turns out I would have grossly overpaid.
