As for the Jerebko discussion, for a zero three-pointers, zero blocks, zero assists guy to deserve top 80 mention, he should average significantly more than 9 points and 6 rebounds. I think the methodology in those rankings are too biased.

I don't think it works like that, hopper is late and Cy is almost late, then it comes to Sly. I don't think he said "just skip me" so that 10 people skips him, I think he meant "I might be late just letting you know"

about Jerebko, his post all-star, top 67 (I just checked it) performance is:

49% fg, 74% ft, 0.5 3ptm, 10.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 0.8 apg, 1.6 spg, 0.4 bpg and 0.8 top

if he somehow gets me those stats: OH MY GOD

"Skip me" does not mean "I'm going to be late" in ANY context.

I waited till his clock was officially done and was at work.

Can we assume WB won't be using his pick and say Sly is on the clock?

Actually, it says WB is next and if you would like this pick, I'll trade it for an upgrade somewhere else

I'll trade you 280 for 270.

I never said he was top80 for a whole season, but he was definitely in that range while he was constantly starting and getting consistent minutes. I think it was after the all-star break. or maybe a bit after the all-star break.

There is a player I have ranked #55 last season still available.

Isn't that pick basically forfeited?

Are you really going to hold the draft hostage with pick 270 in a draft that goes 280 deep?

I don't mean to sound facetious, but the end of this draft is like a bad dream that I just want to end.

that's not me talking, it's the stats. according to stats he was 67 after the all-star break in his rookie year. yes there is some depth in detroit but he can repeat this performance

btw I can't figure out who that guy is, unless it's blatche and you missed him getting picked.

#55? Has to be someone who's retired now or done for the rest of the year. That said, I do have a guess but since we are not supposed to discuss undrafted players, will wait till the draft is over ;)

^^^ I figured.

It would be pretty funny though if we had to wait 8 hours in case you got a deal.

Anyone who ranked that GS player at #55 last preseason is, um, not very good at basketball analysis.

in other news, I have 1 player I rate well over the rest on my list for 272. What are the odds sly takes him?

What are the odds we have the same target?

Well, my hunch is that no one else cares about this player at all. But I've been wrong about that before...

edit: and with that, I'm done, sorta. Still have to drop/add a Frye replacement after the draft.
