ETHAN NOROFRodney Hood was one of the most undervalued players in fantasy circles last season, but Dante Exum’s torn ACL isn’t going to let that happen for the 2015-16 campaign. With Trey Burke looking better in a sixth man role than a starting one and the duo of Burke and Alec Burks really not doing good things together, the opportunity for Hood to play regularly on the wing is going to be there. As the starting shooting guard in his rookie season, Hood averaged 12.4 points, 0.9 steals and 1.7 triples while shooting 46.3 percent from the field. That’s a very impressive contribution from someone most weren’t expecting to even leave the bench, and what’s most encouraging is that he got better as his health (foot) improved and the season marched toward its finish line. Over his final 26 games—when he was seeing a larger role than the first half of the season—Hood averaged 11.8 points, 0.8 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over about 24 minutes of time

MIKE GALLAGHERRodney Hood - He’s probably No. 2 on my breakout list behind C.J. McCollum. There is so much to like here.

JB GilpinHood was solid as a fill in last year, going 12.7/2.8/2.4/0.9/0.2 with 1.6 treys in 21 starts. I like Burks a ton this year and think he can stay healthy (shoulder injury last year was a long-term nagging thing).
Ryan KnausRodney Hood projects as a sixth-man for the Jazz this year and I expect him to soak up plenty of minutes in his second NBA season. Hood shot only 41.4% from the field as a rookie but that leapt to 46.4% after the All-Star break, including 42.0% from downtown. He'll be a nice source of 3-pointers with steady percentages and enough scoring, rebounds, assists and steals to be a nice sleeper pick in the mid/late rounds.
Mike GallagherRodney Hood is a super steal in drafts right now. The Jazz losing Dante Exum will open up more minutes for Hood because they can't go with a two-PG lineup anymore. We might even see Alec Burks at the point on occasion. He could be a mini-Ariza guy.
Josh LloydEnded last season strong, and now has huge chance at a breakout.
